I want to accomplish everything before I can do anything.

Lets see semester is almost over so here’s my attempt at summing it up.

Had a blast so far!!! Hmm ok met a whole bunch of fun people and really looking forward to many more years at St. John’s.

i had a blast, there were people in each class who kept me sane from boredom.  In Chem Lab there was well Marina who always laughed when i messed up…it happened so much xD 8am labs just saying im not a morning person.  There was Judy who helped me so much in Chem Labs because she gave me answers. Still resorting to bad habits of asking people for answers when I can kinda do it myself.  Amed, Matthew (bro i’ve known for soo long and i’m so glad i’m going to the same college as him), Wai, etc.. Also cute white girl who I crushed hard on lol, main factor that made me wake up instantly in bed, but she was on the other end of the lab room so I never really got to talk to her qq.

Stats…yea I didn’t go to class except for the tests, took ap stats at stuy, got a 4 on the exam, then i tried senior year to get a 5 but got a 4 again. w.e i got my man Nicholas, we help each other and always manage to come off with high test grades.  I’d be so lost in Chemistry and Stats without Nicholas as my safety net.

Chem lecture, lol well it’s practically half the class.  I never sit with the same group too often, chem class is a joke…a legit time to socialize with people because no one pays attention.  Managed to get an 88 and a 99 on chem exam for a good enough A or A- in the class depending on what I get on the final.

Chem Recitation was awesome lol. Such a small class, but it’s enjoyable.  Dam sucks classes are over, finals week is this next week. Finished English Portfolio that’s due on Friday, Philosophy Final Paper due on Tuesday, DNY Final on Wednesday, and Chem Final on Saturday.  But other than that no school monday and thursday hehe.

Oh what else, job at Duane Reade which i start tomorrow.  3 minute walk to work from home, oh nooo train delay, oh wait what? i can walk there yea it’s all good.  Not a single regret for going to st.john’s because i’m loving it =) My cousin is one year older and goes there so I can always ask her for advice, I love the new friends I’ve made, and the quiet campus compared to Stuyvesant’s noisy city environment is such a great change of taste.

Quote from Nam (one of the bros):

He was down 2-4 (first one to 5 wins) against this other Asian boy and then he won 5-4! Of course his next fight with the same person 15 minutes later was 0-5 lol. He was very tired, but he’ll do better next time when he builds up his endurance. Still the Asian kid’s mom was like “wow his first ever fight? he’s really good” god that made me so proud and happy =)

Coach Rupp said he’s doing pretty well for his first day even though he had to cut the one on one class short because of the heat. Still it was really nice seeing my brother doing so well and when he put on his helmet and uniform I was sooo happy for him. Sadly PSAL Fencing doesn’t have Sabre yet, but even then I’m sure he’ll be able to use Foil or Epee at ease when he goes to high school. Wonder when I should sign him up for Princeton Review so he can prepare for SHSAT. I will make my brother white-washed! Being Asian is so meh after a while. Prep school, study, prep school, hang out with other Asians blah I mean I don’t hate it, I just prefer having my brother be exposed to other things in life. Pretty good day overall, stopped by Staples to get some school supples, still have the rest of the day to do some homework or chill mmmmmm.

W00t i’m so pumped for him. Got off the phone with the coach, turns out he’s also an alumni for St. John’s University! Aw yea lol small world =) After talking with Coach Greg Rupp I’m so glad to know we’re on the same page with what we want for Bryan; making fencing fun and enjoyable so he’d be more inclined to do fencing for many years to come. So glad I didn’t go out of state for college so I could tend to my brotherly duties. Plus I get to have Robert Colon as my college club gymnastics coach, life’s looking good right now besides the huge amount of reading I need to do these next few days.

This time around I got this. Enough said.

Had a pretty good orientation besides the boring lectures on policy and stuff. Met really cool people, found my Kumar (the brown guy from Harold and Kumar), i really can’t complain about going to school on the 31st. Nice change of taste from going to high school in the city and now going to a more quieter college in Queens. There’s actually a lot of campus life than people had made it seem. mmm can’t wait!
